A Southern Nationals Points Qualifier
Lakeside Disc Golf Course at Veterans Park
A charity event to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Northwest Alabama
Event Details
Two rounds of 18-holes.
Preregistration is encouraged, especially if you want one of the free Ice Bowl minis! If not, you can register from 8-9 a.m. at the course. Players’ meeting is tentatively scheduled for 9:30 a.m. and we hope to tee off round one at 10 a.m. A one-hour lunch will commence after the last card is turned in. Round two tee off will be announced and posted at tournament HQ.
Entry Fees
Open, Pro Women: $27
Advanced, Advanced Master: $22
Men and Women’s Amateur: $17
Novice and Junior: $12
It will take three players to open a division not listed. Plaques will be awarded to first place finishers. Pros play for cash, everyone else plays for plastic coins. We will donate $5 off the top of each entry fee to the Boys & Girls Club. The remainder goes back to the players (minus expenses).
Buy yourself a win!
How many times have you wished you had a second drive or a second putt in a tournament? Mulligans were very successful during several Ice Bowls in 2004. Each round, you will be able to purchase up to Five (5) mulligans at $2 each. Use them for drives, approaches or putts. BUT, they must be paid for when your card is turned in. Failure to do so will cost you two strokes per mulligan. All mulligan money goes to the Boys & Girls Club.

Expect an ace pot and a throw-off if no one gets an ace. We hope to have one CTP for each division during one round. If there’s any time (and donations, hint-hint), we’ll have a few rings-O-fire. Remember, the event cannot be cancelled for ANY reason. Remember the Ice Bowl motto, “No Wimps, No Whiners!” Show up, support a good cause and play some golf!
