We are moving back to the 18-hole format for the first time in a few years. The last few tournaments have been going way over time wise, so we are dropping the extra holes to see how it plays. As the last tournament, we are adding a few extra mandos to keep other golfers safe(hole 10 comes to mind).
Due to the new walking path, hole 8 may be omitted and replaced with the alternate hole 13. Waiting on walkers on 8 has the potential to cause a huge backup. From the backup it causes the minis sometimes, I would hate to see what would happen with 40+ people on the course.
I am trying to score us pizza again. If we can get it, I'll buy a lot extra so everyone will have plenty this time around.
There will be CTPs for everyone plus a special CTP for ONLY those who have attended the minis frequently this year. Something very nice will be given to the winner of that to help show appreciation for showing up every week and donating to the club. Yes.... Rusty Pappas is included even though he decided that we are awful people and moved away. For those who aced while the ace pot was greater than 100 dollars, they must pay full cost of the CTP if they win.
I will keep you all posted to if we are able to get pizza for the event
